The Brahms Institute, with its globally unique collection of valuable musical manuscripts, letters, photographs, and other sources relating to Johannes Brahms and his circle, has now become a member of the Museums Association of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg e. V. Admission to the network further strengthens the visibility of the Lübeck collection as well as the Institute’s work as a center for research, education, and museum practice. The membership opens up new regional, national, and international synergies, which are to be actively pursued. In addition to new opportunities for cooperation, the membership also ensures the digital interface between the Brahms Portal and the Museen Nord portal.
