Collecting Entails Responsibility
Collecting entails responsibility: true to this motto, the institute pursues a variety of tasks. The holdings are expanded by engaging in targeted collecting, while also being preserved, catalogued and researched. Research projects closely linked to the cataloguing are documented in numerous publications and series. In addition, the institute also advises on external projects. Funded by various institutions and foundations such as the DFG, VolkswagenStiftung, HERMANN REEMTSMA STIFTUNG or the federal state government of Schleswig-Holstein, since 2002 numerous projects have been realized.
Here you can find an overview of current and past projects at the Brahms-Institut and the continuing process of digitizing the collection.
